One of the obstacles to getting fresh food to those in need is access, and there are 20-30 families in the community who can’t drive to pick up their Food for Life delivery at St. John’s United in Georgetown.

A team of dedicated volunteers meet up at St. Albans church hall every Tuesday morning at 9AM – 11:30AM. There they prepare family food boxes from the Food for Life truck delivery, and deliver them to those in need who have no transportation or are housebound.

The team is always looking for volunteers to help sort, pack and/or deliver!
