If you live the Glen, you may have received a postcard from Halton Region in the past few weeks. This is what it’s all about:
Halton Region is working with the University of Guelph and BDO to do a research study on rural broadband internet access. The survey assesses internet services in non-urban areas of Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville for:
- availability of broadband connections
- consistency and reliability of connections
- cost of service
The survey findings will give the Region a clearer picture of which locations are currently underserved by broadband internet providers and infrastructure.
