For those of you knitters and crocheters who contributed to Dale Coxs’ Canada 150 Knitted Blankets project last year – this is your chance to keep up the good works. Betty-Anne at Georgetown Yarn is happy if we keep making 7″ x 9″ panels for the Blanket Project.  Use up any colour of worsted weight yarn and they will be made into colourful blankets for 2018.  There’s a bin of donated left over wool scraps at the wool shop that you can either add to or choose from (depending on the supply) for these panels.

Knitters and crocheters are the nicest people. Last years wool workers contributed 2,967 red and white panels that were made into 46 blankets and distributed to Georgetown Yarn’s charities.  Unbelievable!
