In December 2016, Halton Hills Council passed its Budget for 2017. There are a number of approved Capital Infrastructure Projects that will be of interest to Glen Williams residents. If you would like to review the Town’s full 2017 Budget, it can be accessed online here.

As part of the Pavement Management Program, resurfacing for the following roads in Glen Williams is planned for this summer:

  • Mullen Place
  • Karen Drive
  • Erin Street (from Credit St. to Alexander St.)
  • Beaver Street (from Credit St. to Alexander St.)
  • Credit Street (from Erin St. to Confederation St.)
  • Glen Crescent is also to receive asphalt improvements in 2017

In addition, there is work still to be completed from 2015 and 2016 related to the Wildwood Road Reconstruction Project:

  • a new northbound right hand turn lane, curb and sidewalk to be constructed for Georgetown’s Main St. N./Hwy 7 at the entrance to Ontario St.
  • a hamlet gateway/traffic calming feature to be constructed on the adjoining section of Wildwood Road between Ontario St. and Silver Creek.
  • deficiency claim work related to the sod laid along the full road and the naturalized landscaping installed along the Silver Creek curve.
